Typical applications

Where telecom masts are used

Mobile telecommunications masts are used for:

  • base stations of mobile network operators,
  • installation of radio and data transmission equipment,
  • wireless networks and communication solutions in industrial areas,
  • other telecom and transmission systems.

The masts are suitable for use up to the relevant wind zones with a total antenna and equipment area of up to 5 m² at the top of the mast (according to project calculations).

Structure and design

Structure and design parameters

Telecom masts are designed with respect to:

  • required mast height (up to 50 m),
  • wind zones and load calculations,
  • layout of antennas, equipment and cabling,
  • foundation and anchoring solutions for the specific site.

Where needed, the masts can be equipped with ladders, safety systems and cable routes.

Materials and protection

Materials and corrosion protection

The masts are made from steel structures protected against corrosion by hot-dip galvanizing in accordance with EN ISO 1461. On request, they can be coated in any RAL colour, matching environmental and project requirements.
