Concrete foundations for poles and masts
Concrete bases ensure long-term vertical stability of poles and masts. Today, ready-made foundations with pre-installed steel components are increasingly used, which speeds up installation on site and improves quality control of the foundation.
Available foundation types
We offer standard concrete bases for different pole and mast heights and load cases:
- PA-0.8
- PA-1.0
- PA-1.3
- PA-2
- PA-4
Each type has defined dimensions, weight and recommended pole/mast height, which can be found in the technical documentation and catalogue.
How and where concrete bases are used
Concrete bases are used for:
- lighting poles and masts,
- flag masts and mobile telecom masts,
- meteorological towers and other load-bearing structures.
Steel anchor systems and inserts are typically embedded in the base (anchor bolts, rings, frames, etc.), providing a secure connection between the foundation and the pole/mast and making installation on site faster and more predictable.
Concrete class and compliance
Concrete bases are made from C40/C45 concrete class, ensuring high strength and durability. They are designed in accordance with LVS 13369:2004 and comply with the requirements of LVS EN ISO/IEC 17050-1:2005 declaration.
