High masts for large-area lighting
LATSTAB manufactures conical steel lighting masts with heights from 20 m to 55 m, designed for large outdoor areas. Each mast consists of two or more sections connected with flanges and/or slip-joint assemblies. Depending on the project, the mast can support a defined number of luminaires and be equipped with ladders, steps or a lowering system, making maintenance easier in locations with limited access.
Types of lighting masts
We offer several lighting mast configurations depending on the area to be illuminated, access conditions and maintenance requirements.
01. Masts with lowering platform
Masts with a lowering lighting platform that allows maintenance to be carried out from ground level – especially useful where service equipment cannot easily access the site.
02. Masts with fixed platform
Masts with a fixed platform accessed via ladders or service equipment – a suitable solution for sites where maintenance machinery is regularly available.
Where lighting masts are used
Conical steel lighting masts are installed in locations that require uniform lighting of large areas:
- sports fields and stadiums,
- airports and terminals,
- ports and logistics centres,
- large parking areas,
- industrial and warehouse zones,
- ski slopes and other wide outdoor areas.
Structure and corrosion protection
Masts are made from conical steel sections connected by flanges and/or slip-joint assemblies. Each section is designed to meet the required loads and wind zones. Lighting masts are designed in accordance with EN 40 and EN 1090, while corrosion protection is ensured by hot-dip galvanizing in line with EN ISO 1461. On request, masts can be coated in any RAL colour.
